WHAT SPIRIT DOES YOUR NAME CARRY?

To usher in the servant of God, Apostle Jackson Kgopolo into the pulpit for the Sunday of miracles, that is the first Sunday following his visit from the SCOAN, Bethesda singers reverence God in the pool of Bethesda
through a melodious song.They sing;
“There was nothing that was made without Him
There was nothing that existed before Him
In the beginning was the word and the word was with God”
This they sing with herats full of gratitude, acknowledging that without God we are indeed nothing. It is through Him that we breath, live and have our being.
As The Apostle ascended the pulpit, he gave glory to God, praying;
“Thank you Lord, thank you my savior, thank you my deliverer. Thank you for who you are in my life. You are the same yesterday, today and forever. I know even today you are still God – you will continue to do the impossible in my life and in my family. As you touch me Lord touch even my family, my loved ones and those I will meet after this service. Thank you Father, thank you Son, thank you Holy Spirit. “
Implored by the spirit of the almighty God to bless the
congregants through a song that has been burning in his heart, he sings;
“Emmanuel, Emmanuel, your name is great!”
That is the name that we have been given, the name Jesus. The name that is so powerful. Many call themselves this name “Emmanuel/ Jesus” unaware of the power that it carries.
He then asks the congregants to ask their neighbors: What is your name?
This he says is for the reason that any name given to us has a motive and a spirit behind. It is that spirit that we look at. There is a spirit attached to every given name under the sun. every name has an attachment to greatness and challenges, the greater the name the greater the challenges. The apostle was given the name Abraham whilst in Nigeria, looking deeper into the name he now understands the relevance of that name upon his life, looking at the souls entrusted upon him upon the nation of Botswana and globally.
Quoting the scripture in Philippians 2:9 the Apostle asks the congregants; Is what you are doing what you were given by the father, or what you gave yourself? If you say you a minister, an apostle a pastor- is it what you were given? Is what you are doing what you were sent to do? Speaking without being given will result in destruction.
Before Jesus came out He was anointed, He was given the cup to carry by the father (God). Though everything was created around Him, He waited for the instruction to be given to Him. This he says is the reason many call the name Jesus but see no results because they call it but in vain.
The name Jesus, Emmanuel was given to Mary the mother of Jesus when the angel came to tell her that she was going to bear a child by the Holy Spirit. This name means that God is with us. It carries peace, unity, joy and healing, not destruction. The name carries power!
Preparing the hearts of the believers for the ministration, Apostle Jackson Kgopolo urges them to deal with their doubt, proof texting the book of Deuteronomy 7: 17 – for doubt is the one that will hinder them from receiving what they are meant to receive.
He tells the congregants to pray;
“You spirit of doubt in me, tormenting me, tormenting my faith – OUT! I want to be the way God wants me to be.”
Led by the spirit of the one seated in the heavens, the Apostle tells the congregants to pray within their hearts as they await the touch of the heavenlies upon their lives.
“Jesus I believe, help my unbelief!”
There was no escape root for the devil and all his agents as the spirit moved amidst those in the prayer line, liberating them from all manner of sickness, disease, infirmity and affliction. Exposing all the rootcauses of what was the problems of the children of God.
