THE GREATER WISDOM OF GOD

Proof texting the book of Proverbs 15:33, the man of God Apostle Jackson Kgopolo poses a question to the congregants that says;

How many of you want wisdom?

If you want wisdom, you ought to be afraid to do certain things that you know you can do when the world seeth you not. The fear of the Lord is the instruction of life whereas the fear of life is the instruction of destruction in this world

Deny yourself certain practices and trends that your peers are doing. Verse 1 of our proof text tells us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, there is nothing you can do without knowledge. Narrowing it down the stages of development, the man of God tells the congregants the upkeep of knowledge is experienced through every stage of life from birth, to different academic scholarly levels and adulthood. Following the acquisition of that knowledge now comes the need for wisdom.

You cannot live or make it in this world without the wisdom of God. Many have been destroyed by things which seemed like nothing, only to result in unrepairable damage to their lives.

Without wisdom, many have failed to maintain the blessings (businesses, marriages, etc.) that God had given to them.

In everything God gives, there are obligations to its maintenance. The day you jump in and rely on your wisdom is the day destruction and failure finds its way to you.

Referencing the words from verse 33 of Proverbs 15 that say; “and before honor is humility”

The Apostle says that the afflictions and tribulations we often experience in our journey are meant to humble us. As many are often put under certain medication/ treatment for various health issues, and fail to respond – those are likened to Christians who come to God but fail to respond to the treatment God gives to them.

The treatment in this context being the responsibilities that form part of the blessings bestowed upon them.

Ignoring the person who truly cares for you – one day you will realize you lost a diamond while you were going around picking stones.

God is calling all to come back to Him for correction. The book of James 4 tells us that if we come before Him with humility He shall lift us up.

Anybody who is ready to subject and surrender themselves to the humility of God is guaranteed of the eternal peace that flows from the throne room of Christ.

Prayer:

“Lord align me with your word!”
