DILIGENCE OF THE HEART

“God loves me the way He loves all of His children”
Words by Apostle Jackson Kgopolo as he stated his sermon titled ” Diligence of The Heart” to the congregants. This he says is the reason despite our gender, race, societal position, He (God) sees us as the same. It is for this reason that we ought to adopt the heart to Christ. When looking at your neighbour, see yourself, not an animal or creature. See somebody to whom you can help and also gain help from. Our backgrounds are various, with some coming from chaotic and demonic one’s, some from where violence is displayed even before children without a care. Church is the place where a difference is expected to be seen despite the different backgrounds we are from, for the environment we are in is of difference. This is a ground and environment in which we ought to rid ourselves of all the bad practices and characters we have been practising, and pray to God for a renewed heart and spirit, that will inspire the coming generation positively.
The church has to be a place of setting a standard and tone of difference and peace – distinct from the chaotic one set by the world outside.
Prayer;
” God give me a heart like yours. I want to be like you. I want to be a good person with a good heart.”
The mandate of the church is to deliver people from the bondage of satan.
The more you adopt the heart of God, the more you become transformed to the better. You become less zealous to avenge when done wrong, for a good heart never fails nor bends when oppressed. Such, the man of God says is the heart we ought to adopt as children of God. We need to be less focused on the pain, and keep moving despite the afflictions and attacks directed to us.
Prayer;
“God give me a good heart, that will persevere through challenges, tribulations, anger, bitterness, laziness and name calling.”
Not every married woman is a wife, likewise not every married man is a husband. What distinguishes the former from the latter is the heart. No man living in this world is immune to offence.
Without a good heart, your kissing, vision and assignment in this world will be but in vain.
Quoting the famous saying;
” The devil you know is better than the devil you do not know”, the apostle says that despite our differences, God accepted us all just as we are, hence we ought to accept one another without any prejudice.
Challenges, he says, act as a catalyst towards the growth of genuine love.
Love grows where there is a good heart, for a good heart never fails. A good heart is the foundational principle to success. A good heart defends not itself, but God – for God is good hearted. Never try rely on your weakness for defence, that is trying to abuse or vioalte someone verbally or physically as a form of defence. Many have lost all they had possessed over the years all by the reason of the heart (offence). Pray for your heart!
Proof texting the book of Esther 7: 6, the ma of God says that there man and woman with the spirit of Mordecai, that is good woman who can never plot evil towards anyone, likewise there are many and woman with the spirit of Haman – those possessed highly with slippery tongues or rather spirit of lying. This the man of God says carry influence in every sphere of life, hence the need to always seek and runa father the heart of Mordecai, that runs after after calmness and steadiness in the unsteady world.
Going down to verse 7, he tells the congregants to not fret, not be hard on themselves, for their hearts carry everything. The heart can never be decieved. As alluded by verse 9, the heart of a king/ a good man is everywhere, when you fight them God will raise am army to fight on their behalf.
Live it for God and time will tell.
In closing, the man of God says that Harman in our proof text for today represents bad/evil people, Mordecai represents the good people whereas the king represents God.
Never plot evil against anyone. Never wish bad upon anyone in this world for you know it their relationship with God. If you find somebody making a mistake, pray for them and help them rather than plot to use that to bring them down. Fighting a Mordecai like calibre of a person is as good as fighting God Himself.
Prayer;
1. Lord Jesus give me the kind of heart like that of Mordecai. A heart that bears no grudge and is quick to forgiving.
