THE STATE OF YOUR HEART DETERMINES THE FRUITFULNESS OF YOUR LIFE

As Evangelist Lesedi took the pulpit to lay a scriptural foundation upon the hearts of the believers on the Sunday of fruitfulness, this is what she had to say:
“This is the day the Lord has made for us to receive something. The day appointed for your eyes and ears to be open to receive something from Him. This however takes you looking at the state and positioning of your heart.”
Where is your heart positioned in this season- are you ready to receive from God? – are you just speaking or you know what you are speaking about? Are you just declaring without knowing not what you declare?
It is one thing to speak, and another to be of the realization of what you speak about. The Bible tells us that God spoke a word and the earth responded and that He declared us to be like little Gods. By virtue of us speaking a word the earth has to respond, the spiritual realm has to paint something for you – that is when you declare something, the spirit realm has to answer when your declaration is partnered with the word of God. The bible tells us that the holy spirit hovered around the deepness of the water and by virtue of Him speaking the word, He charged something that birthed out that which He said should be.
As declared that today we shall partake of the fruits, begin to see yourself moving from dryness to fruitfulness. God said to Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply, so take it upon yourself and declare that as you partake of the fruit today, everything you do/ touch shall be fruitful and multiplied.
Proof texting 1 Samuel which speaks of the story of Elkanah and his two wives, Peninnah and Elkanah, whom one was with child whereas the other suffered from barrenness. In that very scripture we see Hannah experiencing a shortcoming due to the inability of fulfilling that which she ought to fulfil as a married woman. This the evangelist tells the congregants that a man can suffer from things that are unfruitful in divers’ areas of their lives, like dryness in one’s workplace and in every place they enter into.
Evangelist Lesedi then poses two questions for the congregants to ponder on;
Is my life bearing fruits?
Am I able to fulfil tasks I am given in ways that bring glory to God?
Bear in mind that you are not just supposed to work, but stretch beyond your normal capacity, for failure to respond to a ripe season will have it overcome you. You are not supposed to do things to please yourself, nor to just to move from point A to B, but you ought to rather stretch, skip and move from your own potential and cast the net into the deep. If 120km is your normal speed, and the season you are in permits you move up then accelerate to the higher needed speed for that season. We see the story of the Israelites who instead of travelling 40 days, travelled 40 years due to failure of responding to the season they were in. When the season was fruitful, their actions instead reflected dryness.
Is God telling you to plant or to harvest in the season that you are in?
When God tells you it is your season to plant, plant. In your season of waiting, wait. As in agriculture necessary nutrients are needed for a plants proper growth, the same applies to a Christianity. When waiting to move from one season to the other you ought to do certain things, which takes us back to the four principles mentioned by the Apostle last Sunday of Purpose, dedication, commitment and discipline, which are all necessary for the fruitful and conducive attainment of one’s season.
In the season of Hannah’s waiting, she went up mount Shiloh to seek the face of the Lord. The Bible tells us that she was travailing to a point where her voice could not come out, and poured from her spirit man and told God that if He blessed her with a son she would give her back to Him. This was by reason of the realization that words alone could give her what she needed, hence she stepped into God’s presence and prayed an earnestly prayer that caused a shift in the realm of spirit.
Pour your heart out to the Lord as you stand in His word, with hunger and thirst to experience a new side of Him. He said He is Jehovah El roi, the God that sees – the God that see’s your situation, your circumstances and the God that will make all the crooked ways straight, for He is the God of impossibilities. Just like Hannah, be intentional with that which you ask of from Him.
The Bible tells us that He is the God of Israel that neither sleeps nor slumbers, as long as you offer your sincere prayers to Him, He will answer you.
What is important however, is the state of your heart.
As you pray for fruitfulness, do you have the resources and skills to maintain what God will give you? When God gives you something, will you be able to take care of it or will you let it decay under your watch?
Hannah made a vow to God and fulfilled it, hence God blessed her with more children. When you ask God something and make a vow, be intentional with, for through that God will surely multiply it. God will give you little and await to see if you understand the principles of maintenance attached to the blessing.
The state of your heart determines the fruitfulness of your life.
The parable of the sower talks about planting the seed in fertile soil that nourishes and grows it to something that can bring edification to the kingdom of God. When you present your talents/gifts to God, praying that He helps you to nourish it, He will deposit unto you a bit and steps back to observe your ability to stay faithful, committed and to maintain it.
Understand the principles of maintaining that which you had been praying for, for it will be an error to pray, only to relax at the point of manifestation henceforth making way for the enemy to come in and destroy it all.
Do not give up when the time is not yet up. Do not be dismayed, in this be confident. Wait on the Lord!
