THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING A DISCERNING SPIRIT

When you come to God, you have to give your all (your mind, thoughts, imagination and all that forms part of you). We come to God not because of our belly’s, prophecies, money and worldly needs or posessions, but because none of us knows what tomorrow holds, except for Jesus. It is only Him that can protect what He has given you. It is only Him that knows what is to come tomorrow.
As a Christian you ought to have a discerning spirit and heart, to better understand the environment you are in. Many Christians often fall into diverse temptatiotions due to lack of the spirit of discernment.
Prayer
“Lord Jesus help me to have a discerning heart and a discerning spirit so I may better understand where I am”
We know not, nor understand what is happening in our families nor the battles that we are facing. This, the Apostle says is the reason many Christians fights loosing battles. Many have often called innocent people witches and wizards in their families, and continue to fight internal family battles with their relatives – all because of failure to know the alters they ought to be battling. Lack of knowledge on the history of the maternal and paternal spiritual battles that were caused by alters, have many fighting wrong battles. Alters are speaking in the lives of many people, hence physical appearance should never be your point of judgment in any case.
Many have failed maintaining that which God blessed them with by reason of the alters that are speaking in their lives. In life – we have to look deeper. Following the series of breaking curses, God opened the eyes of His able servant to see the alters that many are sitting on, which are holding back their lives. This are the alters that regardless of one’s position, they will always speak against you. The same alters are the reason many start well but fail to finish well.
The Bible in Judges 6 from verse 13 brings us to a point where Gideon was questioning as to why certain things were happening to them yet God says He was with them. This the Apostle says is the same question many are asking themselves looking at all that is happening in their lives.
Jeremiah 29:11 assures us of God’s wishes upon us, which are for us to finish well, be it in marriage, business and all that we lay our hands on. A question to ponder on however is: What is hindering that from happening?
It is those alters that plant doubt and make you incline to negativity majority of the times. It is those alters that make many live in stagnation, torment, lack/poverty and turn the people of God into living lives of beggars.
Going down to verse 25-26 of Judges 6, The Apostle posed a question to the congregants saying;
“What is that alter of Baal in your father and mothers house? What is that thing that your father and mother failed to overcome?” Failure to overcome the demon of your mother and father will have it overcome you. The greatest problem the coming generation is facing is that which they carried from their father’s loins and their mother’s womb. God instructed Gideon to go to his father’s house and pull down and destroy the later of Baal because failure to do so, the alter will pull him down on his way to his breakthrough and his assignment from God.
As you look deeper, you will notice that the same patterns of struggles, challenges and afflictions match those of your father and your mother. Remember God said to Gideon that He was to save Israel, but for him to fulfil that mission he had to first break the alter of Baal. You have to first overcome the alter of your mother and father for you to overcome in life.
Before you rush to pointing fingers and playing the blame game, thoroughly examine the history of where you come from. The patterns and trends of the family lineage.
Alters are against progress. It is upon you as a child of God to make a decision to put an end to it in your lineage. Make it your greatest assignment to end the cycle of the alter of Baal in your family!
Now to separate yourselves, your families and generations from the alters of Baal, pray along as led by the elect of God Apostle JAckson Kgopolo.
- God pour your mercy upon my life, my siblings, my parents, my family and my entire generation in the name of Jesus.
- Lord give me a revelation about my entire family. Show me its origin and its location in Jesus name.
- In the name of Jesus show me the sacrifice I ought to give to destroy the alter in my father’s house and in my mother’s house.
- Lord I release your fire to expose the alter. Anyway the alter is located, anyway it is originating from, in my father’s house and in my mother’s house I release the fire of the holy ghost. Let the alter die by the fire of the holy ghost!
- Anyway the alter is rooted/planted from my mother’s side and from my father’s side, I uproot it in the name of Jesus! What happened to my mother will never happen to me, what happened to my father will never happen to me because it has been uprooted in Jesus name!
- You demon of my mother, you demon of my father wherever you are located I overcome you, I command you to take up your load and go in Jesus. Whatever my father did, whatever my mother did that attracted the demon to torment them, be nullified in the name of Jesus.
- You power that is behind the alter, I release the Holy Ghost fire upon you. Be broken.
- Me and my generation, my children and my generation are coming out.
- Any cage that kept my father and my mother, I am coming out in Jesus name. I and my siblings, my family and my generation are coming out of the cage that has captured the souls of my family and my generation in Jesus name!
- You alter that has been speaking against my future and my destiny I command you to be silent in Jesus name!
- Lord sanctify me, my family and my generation.
